Celtic Blue Highlanders getting ready to "Pipe Down the Sun"
What better way to watch some of the most beautiful sunsets in world than to the skirl of bagpipes in the background? The Celtic Blue Highlanders Pipe Band will once again this summer, "Pipe Down The Sun" every Friday evening beginning July 10 until August 28. Tourism Goderich is pleased to be a sponsor of this unique event. Tourism Manager, Bob Marshall says that it has truly become a community event and a long standing tradition that attracts hundreds of visitors and residents each year. The Celtic Blue Highlanders Pipe Band will play at Rotary Cove by The Wheelhouse at least one hour before sunset every Friday evening until August 28 (weather permitting). Bring your lawn chairs or stroll along the Boardwalk and enjoy what many people believe is a perfect end to a perfect day.
