Wards Island Beach
Sandy beach on the eastern shore of Toronto Island, facing Lake Ontario. Very peaceful and rustic. Good family beach. Lifeguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30 with first aid equipment on site. Bordered by trees and natural grasses. Take the Ward''s Island ferry from Mainland Ferry Terminal and follow the signs to the beach. It is a short walk across a playing field past the Island Cafe.
